About the course
Every new CMA shooter must pass the CMA Intro Course (Pistol) before their first competition. Together with a valid membership, successful completion leads to the CMA handgun shooting licence.
The course takes one day: the morning covers theory – getting to know and applying the rules, firearm handling and shooting techniques. The qualification test is shot in the afternoon. A separate qualification test for long guns is held on a later date.
All CMA sport activities are organised and run by SwissAAA. The CMA Intro is run by SwissAAA in cooperation with ASM Projekte.
